Badminton Club Urdorf

~ the club ~

Hi, we are the Urdorf Badminton Club. We are a colorful mix of about 25 enthusiastic and motivated players from Urdorf, Dietikon, Schlieren, Engstringen, Birmensdorf, Bremgarten, Zurich and other corners of the Limmat Valley. Our main goal is to have fun while playing. We play doubles and singles in ever-changing constellations. So it never gets boring.

Our club was founded in 1987, … and yes, some of the founding members are still actively involved today.

Would you like to come and try it out? Then join us! – We are always happy to welcome new players.

~ location & time ~

We play on Mondays, 6-9 pm, in new gym 4-B of the Limmattal cantonal school in Urdorf (except during school vacations).

Address: In der Luberzen 34, Urdorf (next the main building).

We have the whole hall with 4 courts to ourselves. That means 3 hours of pure fun and no annoying waiting times for a court to become available.

Getting there

  • Tram 20, stop „Kantiallee“, Urdorf
  • Bicycle stand next to the hall
  • Parking: use the visitor parking on

~ membership ~

If you have had a taste of the club and like it, you are welcome to become a member. Membership is always for one calendar year and costs CHF 180. This covers the hall rental and shuttles.
